Cambridge Votes to Move Nuclear Reactor

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Look what 28th
Middlesex Cambridge Voters did. On Tuesday November
3, by dramatic margins, Cambridge voted to:
(1) move the MIT Nuclear Reactor out of Cambridge, MA
On Referendum 5, by a margin of more than 2 to 1, Cambridge
voted to move the MIT Nuclear Reactor out of Cambridge to
a safer and less densely populated area.
Latest returns from the 28th Middlesex district show 5,287
Cantabrigians support moving the Nuclear Reactor, 7,430 endorse
increasing Affordable Housing opportunities, and 8,083 voted for
Universal Health Care and the Health Care Bill of Rights.
David A. Hoicka was the only candidate to actively promote, in
every piece of campaign literature, Moving the Nuke,
affordable housing, and Universal Health Care with Health Care Bill
of Rights.
In the recent election, Hoicka was also the only candidate to limit
campaign expenditures to Clean Election levels, and to refuse
money from people and special interests with issues pending
before the legislature.
