Title: HEALTH PHYSICIST	          
                                                  
Knowledge:
This position requires knowledge and understanding of radiation
detection instrumentation and basic dosimetry; working knowledge of 10
CFR 835, DOE regulations, ANSI Standards, NCRP, ICRP, ICRU and IAEA
reports in order to implement appropriate radiological controls in the
workplace; ability to write and review detailed work procedures;
evaluate work processes, reference data, and field survey results in
order to determine radiological controls; perform tracking and trending of
radiological survey data; possess knowledge and experience in
conduct/formality of operations;  provide updates to radiological worker
training; possess strong interpersonal skills with teaming experience, PC
skills (spreadsheet and database), analytical skills, and strong oral and
written communication skills.                                                                        
                                                  
Experience:
These skills are acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree
in health physics, nuclear engineering or related scientific discipline
combined with approximately 2-3 years of  operational health physics
experience.
