Positions Available
Georgetown University has two positions in Health Physics open:
Health Physicist II
The minimum level of education is a B.S.
in the physical sciences, biology, or health physics
and at least two (2) years experience in applied health physics
at a university and / or medical center.
An M.S. degree in health physics or radiation science and several years of
operational health physics experience at a medical center or hospital is
preferable.

Deputy Radiation Safety Officer
The minimum level of education is a B.S.
in the physical sciences, biology, or health physics
and at least seven (7) years experience in applied health physics
at a university and / or medical center;
Training must include 200 hours of classroom and laboratory
training in radiation physics and instrumentation, radiation
protection, applied mathematics, and Radiation Biology;
and at least one year working under an RSO at a medical facility.
An M.S. degree in health physics or radiation science and several years of
operational health physics experience at a medical center or hospital is
preferable.
