Re: Survey Instrument Beta Checks

Sandia Labs had a study performed by Yankee Atomics Rad Engineering group
on this subject. They evaluated several meters in use at Sandia and
provided correction factors for different beta Emax. I am not sure if this
report is available to the public but a call to either group would probably
solve that. The report is titled "Beta Correction Factors for Select
Radiation Survey Instruments", written in May 1997.
