U&Ra and water
Some of the country remote areas rely on ground water for drinking and
irrigation. Some of these water wells contain unsafe concentrations of
natural radionuclides, particularly, uranium and/or radium. Currently,
we are running a national project to evaluate the problem. I'm seeking
for a person(s) who has a practical experience dealing with a similar
problem for the following tasks:
- Geochemistry studies
to locate the sources of these nuclides and may come
with a solution easier than the treatment.
- Risk assessment
- Treatment
A treatment technique suitable for remote areas of
small populations has the following characteristics:
small scale, simple to operate, economic, minimal
periodical maintenance ...etc.
I kindly request any one has experience in these areas or could direct
me to the right person to contact me
Best regards..
