[OEM] Flight Attendant Breast CA Debate, BMJ -Reply



I agree that the pesticide exposure looks like a possible contributing
factor, and the radiation exposure can't be ignored.... but isn't smoking
also a risk factor in breast cancer?  It always seems to me that people on
airplanes with its limited air supply were exposed to significant amounts
of cigarette smoke.  Has anyone ever looked for a synergistic effect
between cigarettes and DDT?  Maybe all three factors are actually
working together.

cancer-type study that "drags in" radiation as a possible cause - and
who
knows, they may be right...but I'd "prefer" to believe the pesticide
theory...jb
