     Unfortunately (for sake of discussion), much of the materials, designs 
     and specific configurations of the gaseous diffusion process are still 
     classified. Wet air in-leakage into a gaseous diffusion process 
     results in deposits which plug barriers, instrumentation lines, 
     process piping, etc. and may create a potentially "unsafe mass". Out 
     leakage results in the previously mentioned HF. System integrity is a 
     "good thing" anywhere. In the gaseous diffusion process, it's 
     paramount. Back to the original issue: corrosive attack is typically 
     not a major concern (assuming reasonable status quo operations).
