See NCRP Report No. 95, "Radiation Exposure of the U.S. Population from 
Consumer Products and Miscellaneous Sources" 
 
exit signs - see page 14 - "Such devices are 'generally licensed' by the
U.S. 
Nuclear Regulatory Commission and may contain up to 925 GBq (25 Ci) of 
tritium..." 
 
watch dials - see pages 9ff - The NRC limit is 25 mCi per watch.  In
practice, 
the average activity is less than 2 mCi.  Keep in mind that Pm-247 may be
used 
instead of tritium.
