Re: Radiation protection in dentistry



There is quite a bit of information on this subject in the 
dental radiology literature, mostly in two journals: "Oral 
Surgery Oral Medicine Oral Pathology Oral Radiology 
Endodontics" (the U. S. journal) and "Dentomaxillofacial 
Radiology" (from the UK).  You may find it by running a 
medline search on radiation protection and dentistry.  The 
American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology may be 
helpful.  Try their website at www.aaomr.org.  The NCRP has 
a committee working on this topic, to write a report to 
replace #35, which is quite dated.
