Re: RAM Licensing in Turkey

.....The purpose of this request is to facilitate the transfer of
materials from a private 10CFR 32.51 licensee here in the US to a
private 10CFR 31.5 type of licensee (General) in Turkey....

     Erick:

We have exported various radioactive commodities to Turkey and Greece.
Please reference Title 10 CFR, Part 110.23 for the Export of Byproduct
Material. Depending on the material(s) you are intending to ship,
look for the specific restrictions/requirements outlined in this Part.
In addition, you'll want to make sure that the shipper's export deck
identifies something to the effect that you are exporting under a U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) General License in accordance with
the applicable sections of the Code.

One other very important item : Make sure you are in possession of the
proper export license to ship your RAM.
