Re: shipping natural thorium



One of the categories for Low-Specific-Activity (LSA)-I is:  "Solid, 
unirradiated ... natural thorium ..." (49CFR173.403) This material seems to 
qualify.  This can probably be shipped in a "strong tight package" if
certain 
conditions are met.   See 49CFR173.427.
