See http://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/sgr-min-pdf/chap3.pdf the Surgeon
General's Report with data thru 1995, put on the site May '98. See first
section, Table 5 p.149 for a discussion of smoking consumption vs lung
cancer. There are refs that may provide more specifics.

Also, http://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/sgr-min-pdf/chap2.pdf has consumption
data by group.
