Your citation was right on the mark. He made the first clinical (diagnostic)
x-ray in the US. In fact I believe it was the first in North America. It was
not the first x-ray in the US (the first was non-medical), or even the first
clinical use of x-rays (x-rays might have been used in the US for therapy
prior to Frost's first clinical diagnostic x-ray).
