RE: Beer as a chelating agent for uranium



It's my understanding that uranium carbonate is fairly soluble.  This
concern arose when limestone rock was proposed as part of a multilayer
cap for a radwaste landfill here in Oak Ridge.  I have no idea if this
translates into a method for removal of U from the body, though.
