10 CFR Part 35 Draft of 4/30/99

Dear Radsafers:

The NRC has published a Working Draft of Final Rule for 10 CFR Part 35 on
April 30, 1999 on its web site.

It is the last listing on a two-page Table of Contents, and is 60 pages long.  

In the April 26, 1999 Federal Register, the NRC states that the Final Rule
is due for publication sometime in August, 1999.

I would appreciate seeing your comments, and will forward these comments to
The Society of Nuclear Medicine and The American College of Nuclear
Physicians.  These groups will obviously be developing comments, and these
will be available to whomever wants them.
