The Baltimore Gas & Electric Company Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power
Plant has several in house openings for Radiation Safety
Technicians. These positions conduct and evaluate extensive
radiation airborne radioactivity and contamination surveys to
determine the required radiation safety protection requirements
and personnel stay time, and maintains required postings.
Monitors and controls personnel exposure to airborne
radioactivity and radiation to maintain personnel exposure to as
low as reasonably achievable (ALARA).  Prescribes the required
radiation safety protective clothing and devices for all
individual entries into the controlled areas of the site.
Controls and reduces the quantities of radioactive materials by physical
techniques and administrative procedures.  Assists in
preparation of procedure and revisions thereto.  Operates,
calibrates, and maintains equipment used to perform radiation
safety surveys and respiratory test equipment. Prepares
radioactive material for disposal and completes all necessary
shipping documents.  Ensures that controlled area material is
surveyed in accordance with approved procedures prior to
unrestricted release.

The Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant is located 50 miles south
of Annapolis on the Chesapeake Bay in scenic Southern Maryland.
