Ken,

In your message regarding normalizing techniques between different x-ray 
units, you never mentioned whether all of films from the different units 
units will be processed under the same conditions (i.e. in the same 
processor).  If processing is not consistent, it may be a major 
contributor to the differences you observe in techniques.  If you would
