Actually it is a circle over the "a" (and the "A") and two dots over the

The dots and circles create plenty of troubles in the computer world... - it
is very common that the three kinds of "a" (there is one with two dots over
it also) creates three different words - at least for short words - with
entirerly different meanings... OK - I
