RE: Real time monitoring of atmospheric tritium

The lowest detection limit I have seen quoted is 17 Bq/m3 for a 24 hr
measurement with a Berthold gas flow proportional counter (3 L). However,
it is debatable if 24 hours is considered real time. I assume that this
detection limit will be significantly more in the presence of any background
interferences.
