acoustic lead vs rolled lead
Hello. Does anyone have any info. on the use of acoustic lead as opposed
to rolled lead for shielding in a medical x-ray department? The project
I am working on is to determine under what conditions acoustic lead can
be used in the walls surrounding medical & dental x-ray equipment, in
place of rolled lead.
Also, are there recommendations or standards stating that rolled lead is
the only lead allowed to be used for shielding purposes?
