Question for Dosimetry Performance Types:

Assume I have 5 TLDs of a single test category (e.g., IV).  Which method given
below best complies with the intent of Section 3.6 and Appendix D, D2?

a)  An irradiation level is determined at random using Appendix A, Equation A1
and and used for all 5 dosimeters (e.g., irradiation level is determined to be
100 mrem and all 5 TLDs are irradiated to 100 mrem).

b)  An irradiation level is determined at random using Appendix A, Equation A1
for each dosimeter (in this case ensuring that no more than 1 TLD is irradiated
to less than 50 mrem).
