Radiation Technician Position with Novoste Corporation

Novoste Corporation, a medical device company and
world leader in the emerging field of vascular
brachytherapy, has an immediate opening for a permanent, 
full-time Radiation Technician in the Norcross,
Georgia, USA (Atlanta) facility. 
 
Specific duties:
1. Receive, test, calibrate, and ship radioactive sealed
    sources.
2. Calibrate instrumentation used to process sources.
3. Perform radiation and contamination surveys.
4. Perform inventories of source trains.
5. Maintain records of operations.

Supervision of others: None

Qualifications: 1-2 years specialized training in
 radiation protection plus five years experience 
 handling radioactive material and performing 
 radiation surveys.  

Compensation: Excellent salary & benefits package, 
 including equity in the form of stock options.
