Particle Size Distributions

ICRP 66 is recommends using a 5 micron particle size assumption when
determining occupational exposure. 10 CFR 835 and 10 CFR 20 (based
on ICRP 30) still suggest 1 micron. Does anyone have any addition
references that which would show what would be a good
representative particle size for occupation exposure to radioactive
particulates? or just additional defense of the 1/5 micron beside what is
sited in ICRP 30/66?
