Bob, well stated. I only see Webster or Niklason weighting viable for 
diagnostic x-ray use, specifically fluroscopic procedures. These 
methods would not be valid for licensed procedures, in my opinion. In 
that case, other methods, such as ANSI should be considered. Before 
any weighting methodology is used, the facility should evaluate 
whether or not they can take credit for weighting, what function are 
they performing, and determine if the method they use is valid for 
what they are doing. If the individual is not only working in a non-
uniform field, but are also working in a mixed radiation field, the 
considerations are much more complicated, and shielding becomes a 
major consideration.
