RE: the RADSAFE tantrum re Lochbaum/NPR/UCS

UCS is not a membership organization.  Those who contribute money are
"supporters" not "members".

 UCS must respond to its overall sources of money.  If it scares people and is
mean to nuclear power, it gets money.  If it has to provide inaccurate
information to get money, it will.  How many people know how left-wing the
MacCarthur Fund is?  How much real hands-on work do you have to do in the real
world to be a college professor?

My opinion only, based on personal experience and written evidence.
