RE: Electronic dosimetry

We use MGP DMC-100 Electronic dosimeters. These dosimeters have the ability
to interface with two different methods providing notice to the worker in
high noise areas. One is the use of a small LED that you can attach to your
safety glasses that will flash with the same periodicity as the alarms. The
second is an external high noise box that is easy to hear in high noise
environments.

		A quick survey
		1. What type of electronic dosimetry is in use at your
station?
		2. Is there an external alarm available?
		3. What compensatory actions are taken to enable the user
to respond to
alarms in high noise or low light areas?

		Much thanks, S. Ziegler
