RE: NCRP/NRC recommendations on dose limits for hot particles



Is the Tang case one of these six?  Or was that an internal Hot Particle?
Or was that a potential/imaginary hot particle?

I don't know the background of this event and wish some insight.

		The NRC is aware of only 6 hot particle doses that have
exceeded the 50 Rem skin dose limit, out of more than 15,000 documented
cases.
