Biological Sampling Methodology Question

Hello all,

I am looking for suggestion/guidance on a sampling protocol for analysis of 
animal tissues/bone/muscle of cattle and elk for Uranium, Plutonium, and Sr 
90.  Specifically, what would be the best sampling points of the animal 
(bones/organs/tissue) to get the best representative result and be consistent 
with other studies that may have been previously performed.  The ultimate 
goal is the client desires to prepare a dose estimate.
