Radiation dose from atm. tests

I need a reasonable estimate of the total cumulative radiation dose to a
typical  person living within the continental USA during the entire 1946 to
1970 time period  as a consequence atmospheric nuclear explosives testing
(average and "maximum" doses).  Thanks for you help,
