We are in the middle of a audit and a question has come up dealing with 10CFR835.501(d).01
RULE: Written authorizations shall be required to control entry into and perform work within radiological areas.
(contamination, radiation and airborne areas ex)
To go into some radiation areas, with non-changing conditions, to perform inspections and surveillance (No hands on work) we do not require anything written.
Do you have anything similar, or do you require written authorization for all entries? If so, what type of authorization do you require? RWP, SOP???
