Health Physicists Needed

Best Medical International, a dynamic, fast-growing medical device company located in Springfield, VA,  has immediate openings for Health Physicists.  This position will manage the daily activities in the radiation safety program for laboratories utilizing radioactive materials.  Responsibilities include evaluating compliance for the use of radioactive materials in accordance with radiation safety policies and procedures; initiating corrective actions and writing reports for corrective measures; verifying integrity of sealed sources, ensuring accuracy of laboratory's protective equipment; coordinating the implementation of radioactive waste program; and overseeing the personnel radiation-monitoring program.

BS/MS in Physics/Chemistry.  Two or more years experience in managing radiation protection, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to interpret State and Federal regulations.  Must be detailed oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
