 Position Title:   HEALTH PHYSICIST/SCIENTIST                               
 Dept/Location:    Health Physics Support, Millstone                        
                                                                            
Individual   will   be   responsible   for   tasks   and   application  of
methods/practices  associated  with the radiation protection activities to
include:  analysis  of  data,  definition  of  techniques for radiological
hazard  control  during  work  evolution,  and  monitoring of external and
internal  exposure  for  regulatory  compliance.  The successful candidate will
 posses  expertise  on  both  health physics technical and regulatory issues, 
and  will  be  the  primary  point  of contact in these areas for  external 
agencies  such  as  the  NRC,  INPO.    Individual  will provide technical 
support  to  the  Health  Physics Operations and Health Physics Services groups
on implementation of various aspects of the Health Physics Program,  including
internal and external dosimetry, radiological surveys, health  physics 
instrumentation  and  self  assessment  activities.     A Bachelor's degree in
a science or engineering discipline related to health physics  or  equivalent 
professional experience and five years of related experience  are  required for
the Health Physicist position.  A Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
or the equivalent education and directly 
 related  experience  and five years of related experience are required for the
 Scientist  position.
