The NRC's definition of "fissile material" is any material fissionable by thermal neutrons.  The three primary fissile materials are U-233, U-235, Pu-239, again by its definition.

I thought a "nuclear weapon" contained U-235 and/or Pu-239, not "fissile material". These isotopes only emit low energy photons and will not be detected with a "gamma detector".
