Dear Joe,
Being a citizen óf a "classical capitalistic country......" you might know that any new technology will only be introduced if it provides a net profit!!! I doubt that the basic concept would be of any profit. Such extreme concepts with RTG's pay well off, it a satellite cannot be connected with a long enough cable to the earth to receive enough energy for data transmission.. (I trust you understand my cynical comment!)
