In one of his visits to India while addressing a few scientists from the Indian Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Dr Roger Clarke, former Chairman, International Commission on Radio-logical Protection revealed that a few years ago some one gifted the members of the British Royal family a few gem-stones as pendants. They were embarrassingly radioactive . Contact doses were high enough to cause radiation dermatitis over prolonged use. He told the audience, that the pendants were removed discretely without causing a diplomatic row.

You may want to check out Nighthawk
Minerals in Colorado.

We checked with Colorado Regulatory and it appears that his
operation is
outside of any regulation/jurisdiction. Nothing they can
about it.
On the other hand, looking at the LNT vs Hormesis theory
........... Judge
for yourself.
