beneficial effects of ionizing radiation
I've noted the ongoing RADSAFE debate over LNT, although I am not an
epidemiologist.
I just want to mention, for those who are interested, that the June 22,
2000 meeting of the Michigan Section, American Nuclear Society will
feature a talk by Dr. Jerry Cuttler, of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited,
on, "Resolving the Controversy over Beneficial Effects of Ionizing
Radiation." This will be based on a paper which Dr. Cuttler presented,
last year, at the WONUC Conference on the Effects of Low and Very Low
Doses of Ionizing Radiation on Health.
All RADSAFERS are cordially invited to this meeting. Be sure to set
aside, the date - June 22, 2000. More details will follow, or you can
e-mail me for more information.
The opinions expressed are strictly mine.
It's not about dose, it's about trust.
