Radiation Records Being Investigated

I do not think the issue is one of partisan politics, nor do I believe what
has been proposed is a radiation welfare bill. As I understand it, the idea
is to compensate persons diagnosed with beryllium disease and persons with
cancers known to be radiogenic much as was done for the so-called atomic
veterans but based on probability of causation. If in fact this is what is
done, it implies some knowledge of the dose to the affected individual.
Even though this might result in some who were not injured being
compensated, it would seem appropriate as it will compensate those who are
most likely to have been injured.
