----- I'm the Coordinator of the UNPLUG Salem Campaign, which focuses on Salem 1
& 2
because of the combination of safety and fishkills. This means that the Campaign
has some
groups who are not anti-nuke, just anti-Salem.--------

-------------I do pass some info on to our "experts" and/or long time activists,
for their comments. If I ever have an epiphany from info on this list, yes, I'll
pass it on. I do agree
that it would make sense to pass a condensed version of the 2 main threads,
Chernoybl and
Tooth Fairy to the UNPLUG Salem list. BTW - at least one Radsafer is on, mostly
as a lurker, the UNPLUG Salem list. Its open to anyone, feel free to join and
opine away.----------

Salem slaughters fish because pseg refuses to build cooling towers. PSEG's
so-called "Estuary Enhancement Program" destroys marshes. Our position has been
that it's just not worth the risk to South Jersey and Delaware especially when
there are safer alternatives available. So the odds of your emailing me a pile of
proof so convincing that we at UNPLUG call a meeting and disband is slim. But
then my idea of posting to this list wasn't to 'convert' anyone, just to listen
and learn, contribute where I could. -------
