Detailed historical weather data can be ordered from the NOAA at
http://www4.ncdc.noaa.gov/cgi-win/wwcgi.dll?wwAW~MP~OL. Yes, you
have to pay for the data but surely the est. $10 isn't too much to
pay for data critical to the analysis.
BTW, who is marvin I. Lewis and what are his qualifications in this
area?
