There is a wealth of information on the web under the heading:
"Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator".

I found over 600 references on Yahoo. But, the anti's have many sites whose
info is bogus, so warn your student to look at reliable sites such as NASA,
DOE, national labs, etc.
