Los Alamos scientist mixes 'radiation-proof' ceramic -News Article

Of note, an interesting, and quite favorable news article from the
Albuquerque Tribune for Aug. 4, 2000 about some research from LANL:

Lead paragraph:

Los Alamos scientist mixes 'radiation-proof' ceramic
By Lawrence Spohn
Tribune reporter

An international research team, led by a Los Alamos National Laboratory
scientist, has identified a special ceramic material that could safely

industry because it might provide a way to safely store radioactive waste
much longer than current methods.
