Re: High Dose Rates in Sand - Brazil, Argentina or India
Back in 1973/74 (before I was an H.P.) I was within 100-150 miles of Poco
de Caldes, Brazil with its "Thorium laden" beach sand, washed down from the
mountains to the west. One of the few places in the world that you can get
a "tan" on both sides at the same time (grin). If only I'd known about the
deposits, I would have brought/shipped back a bucket of that sand to share
with other HP's...jb
