	--I designed my research program and was not forced to do it by my

employer. I designed it in such a way that the radiation exposures to my

body were within the limits that were then considered acceptable. The hood

was designed and tested with that in mind. I must say that, at that time,

we were concerned about neutron exposure to the eyes much more than about

gammas. If what I did was not considered proper HP practice, I would say

that that "proper practice" was wrong.
