RE: Seeking reference materials on Pu, U, and Th

Peter, Radsafers,

Studies by the USGS and DOE contractors at Rocky Flats have led to some very

excellent papers on the mobility of uranium, americium, and plutonium in

soils, ground water, and surface water in the semi-arid climatic conditions

of the Denver metro area.

Subject: Seeking reference materials on Pu, U, and Th

I'm interested in finding a reference that discusses how Pu, U, and Th

surface contamination behaves in the environment. Specifically, I'm

interested in why Pu and Th are much more mobile than U.

Thanks,

Pete Darnell
