The Los Alamos Emergency Responder Rad Training course says:

1. Wear full bunker gear and SCBA so you are protected against alphas.

2. Use a PIC6 to measure gammas. The minimum dose rate measured by a PIC6 

is 1 mrem/hour.



The Eberline PIC6 is sturdy.
