RE: Cohen's Ecologic Studies

Lubin's new paper attacking Cohen's ecological studies of lung cancer and

radon continues the repeated theme that there are possible non-linear

confounding factors that could theoretically explain Cohen's results. This

is true. However, it seems to me to be important to specifically identify

these confounding factors and show how they affect the results. I don't

think that has been accomplished.
