Full-time Position Available - Assistant Water Chemistry  Manager at

Environmental Radiation Lab



NEXTEP Environmental seeks a self-motivated individual with a Master’s or

Ph.D. in chemistry or chemical engineering to manage the water chemistry

division of an environmental laboratory.  A person with a Bachelor’s degree

and 5-10 years of experience in an industrial or environment water chemistry

lab would also be considered.  The emphasis of the lab is on water quality

for discharge to the environment.   Candidates should possess excellent

organizational, analytical, and writing skills, as well as knowledge of

state and federal water quality regulations.  Responsibilities include:

    - Developing procedures consistent with EPA methods for water sample

testing.

    - Updating existing procedures for pH, TRC, Sulfates, TSS/TDS, TOC, COD,

and O&G.

    - Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality control requirements.

    - Training of technicians.

    - Planning for, and implementing, expansion projects.
