Re: Breast Cancer Prevention with Radiation
Dear John,
We physicians have learned to do more than give physics (laxatives).
I believe we should offer more ionizing radiation to most Americans.
I agree with ALARA for any medicine (or herb), as reflected in FDA's
Notification,
" - While the benefits - are well known - still, unnecessary radiation exposure
during medical procedures should be avoided." I practice this.
However, for vitamins or other deficiencies such as fluoride, iodine, etc,
ALARA kills. Likewise, radiation?
It might be wise to avoid more radon in Iowa as more fluoride in Deaf Smith
County, Texas. You can overdose on vitamins, too.
