Hmmm -- curious that the DU conference was "organized by Res publica, association for information."
....wonder if that's supposed to be a play on the well-known Řež Nuclear Research Institute (NRI) (see web site at http://www.nri.cz/ ).
Of course the latter have nothing to do with the former, and the www.du.publica.cz site has no links to any scientific institution or organisation.
But as we saw recently at the NATO summit in Prague, there is certainly plenty of pro-Iraq anarchists, Greens and "pre-Velvet Revolution" Communists there. The list of participants of the DU conference (below) reads like a who's who of activist organisations and "Slobo" Milosevic apologists. Yuk !

At this conference we intend to
form platform for
technical, military, health, ecological,

We feel that in the existing
situation it is necessary
to make steps towards learning

The conference in Prague would create
platform in a chamber
milieu for effective personal
exchange of mind.
