Request for Vendor Names on First-Responder Radiation Detection Devices

Hi All –

I’ve been assisting our local government with a number of radiological issues. Recently they were given some funds to update there civil defense instruments with new ones. I’m looking for manufactures that are offering first responder rad kits. Specifically I’ll looking at some self-reading alarming dose rate meters (like the pager sized or smaller) and for some isotope identification products (portable hand MCA that compare spectrums against a know library).

If you know of a good list on the web for such rad first-responder vendors. Or if you are a vendor of such a product, cam you please contact me at the numbers and e-mails below. I need to get this information relatively soon.

Thanks

Ken
